Textile Design

Students become acquainted with contemporary technologies of artisans and manufacture (batik, needlepoint/tapestry and weaving, tailoring and sewing, etc.). This is supplemented by studies in drawing, model drafting, the history of textile arts from its beginnings to the present, as well as textile and pattern design.
